Toyota Previa Sliding Door Problem

Passenger door ended u not opening from the inside and outside so i decided to figure out what happened.

Slide door doesnt open from ouside if the latch works but the door seems to be jammed take a look at the bottom rear corner of the door. The previa is almost egg shaped with its engine in the middle of the vehicle and bears more than a passing resemblance to the unusual toyota master. The toyota previa known as the estima on japan s market was one of the least attractive minivans ever created and the third generation model created in 1997 was a particularly ugly incarnation. The vehicle was taken to the dealer auto nation toyota cerritos 18700 studebaker rd cerritos ca 90703 562 802 4000 who disconnected the function but the failure continued. If so the bottom rear corner of the door is likely to be hitting the cladding where it wraps around into the bottom of the opening. I know from poking around a little on the forum that the power doors can be a little finicky on these vans. Ask your own toyota question.

2004 toyota sienna power slide door won t open all the way. The suggested fix above did fix my problem. The problem is that a 2 5 hinged finger that pops up from the floor of the door opening to block the door. The contact did not receive notification of nhtsa campaign number.

It opens fine but when closing it gets to the very end then re opens. Apparently the finger should but doesnt go back down after the gas flap is closed. Turns out a very small piece broke off that was prev. Without warning the passenger side sliding door opened.
