It is designed for windows 2000 and up. Now i am working under win8 and installed logitech setpoint. For several years now i have been using a logitech trackman marble together with a libinput tweak to use the trackball for scrolling by holding down one of the buttons while spinning the ball. Make sure there is enough content to scroll scroll bar visible.
